Boma Dinner

The Botsalanong Boma and Letsatsing Bomas are two open-air African banqueting venues, which with a huge bonfire and African dancers make it an unforgettable experience under the stars ….The African Way! Guests are welcomed with cocktails and cultural dancers where after a African barbecue feast is served. After the main course, guests have the opportunity to participate in a fun inter-active drumming session. The evening ends with an informal talk by a well known astrologist offering guests the opportunity to learn more about the Southern African constellations.

 

Elephant Back Safaris

Join Chikwenya, Sharu, Sapi, Mana and Michael for an extra ordinary game viewing experience along ancient game trails with a difference, on elephant back, as though part of this special herd. Being part of this special herd rewards guests with close  sightings of Rhino, Giraffe, Zebra and various other species, oblivious to your presence aloft the elephants.

 

Golf at Sun City

The resort proudly boasts two world class 18 hole championship golf courses namely the Gary Player Golf Course and the Lost City Golf Course. The Gary Player Golf Course needs no introduction, this world renown course was designed by Gary Player, and is the home of the Nedbank Golf Challenge, an annual golf tournament with total prize money of US $4 385 000.

 

Hot Air Balloon Safari

This experience will give guests a bird’s eye view of the Pilanesberg National Park and it’s Big Five inhabitants. Guests are transferred in open safari vehicles to the launch site in the park for a 30 minute flight spotting herds of wildebeest, elephant and other animal species.  The experience comes to and end at a specially selected site in the bush where sparkling wine and a hot buffet breakfast is served followed by the handing over of their flying certificate to commemorate the morning’s adventure.
